Perch Coffee

Perch is a specialty coffee and board game café designed around a simple but increasingly rare idea — that a place can invite you to actually stay. The client's vision was clear from the start: recreate the kind of unhurried, communal coffee shop experience that's largely disappeared from suburban life. Our response was a warm, layered interior where exposed concrete structure meets rich walnut millwork, teal tile, and lounge seating arranged for conversation. In the rear, three dedicated game rooms house a library of 200 titles and a small counter where guests can rent or purchase games and gaming accessories. There players can rent a chair by the hour, order some food, and lose track of time entirely.
