Lamont 3-in-1

Lamont 3-in-1 is a custom radiator cover and storage system designed and built by West Workshop. The millwork consists of four components: 1.) Wood frame surrounding the existing radiator; 2.) Two “skin frames” enclosing a clothes hamper and book shelves; 3.) Horizontal wood slats attached to the frames, and 4.) Top surface with access panels. The primary frame and two skin frames were built using off-the-shelf birch plywood and the wood slats and top surface were made of select 1x pine boards. All wood was finished with a custom dye and stain finish to match the existing mahogany paneling found in the room.
